Building a Cycling Shop website
The Problem
A new cycling store in Potsdam, NY, Cycles Endurance & Sports, needed a website to help their customers with everything they needed in one place.
The solution
I designed and built a site that met the needs of the store. When the situation changed, and the owner wanted the scope of the project to expand, we met again and worked together to make sure the site exceeded both of our expectations.
What I did.
- Met and discussed plans for site
- Designed initial version
- Built initial “rough” version
- Set up a Facebook embed on the site
- Copy-writing for sections of the site
- Set up a Contact Form, styled it to match Cycle’s branding, and hooked it up to the owner’s email address
- Took pictures and edited them to look more professional
- Designed a prices flyer with Cycle’s branding
- Optimized the site for speed
- Secured the site
- Set up hosting
- And much more!
